AP- Discusion Director 1.How would you feel if you were Peter right now in these chapters. Why do you feel this way? Well I would feel very scared because if I were him, I would feel scared, because I would be wondering what my mom would be thinking. Is she angry, sad, worried? I would feel this way because I am scared for Peter and I really want to know what is going to happen to him in the end. 2.Why do you think that Peter says that Will Shakespeare was the most understanding person he knew? I think that he said that because whenever Peter would tell him something, he would be the only person that would take him seriously of what he is telling him. I also think that he said that, because he gives him advise on what to do. I know that I would call Will Shakespeare an understanding person! 3.Why do you think that Kit ran away before she got on stage? Well, I think that she ran away, because she was scared that she would forget he lines or maybe she was nervous. Well everyone is nervous before walking on stage. I know that I am? Maybe she was nervous because someone was watching her. 4.Why do you think that Peter is happy to be done with his secrets? Why do you feel this way? I think that he is happy, because he wants to get all the secrets off his back. Peter has been through a lot lately and maybe just wanted to let it out before it was to late. I feel this way, because I know that it feels good to get a lot of things of your back and it also feels good to just let I out and tell someone that you trust.

TG- Passage Picker
The first passage I picked is on page 99 on the second paragraph. I felt as if there was a sort of vulnerability in his self-confidence because we know what became of him and how famous he is now, but he had no idea in this sentence. They both ran away from home in fear of the law I also picked this paragraph because the last sentence I felt a connection between Peter and Shakespeare. Peter is in a tough situation that no kid should have to go through but I think having someone to understand you are things that make it far easier.
The second passage I picked is on page 106, the last paragraph and page 107 the first and second paragraph. I chose it because you feel a change of emotions in Peter. First you feel defeat, then confidence, and after, his emotions crash when he sees Sir Phillip. If I were him I would probably give up and run off the stage but later on you find out that he keeps his cool and Sir Phillip never finds out. When I was reading this, I almost panicked because I felt for Peter.
The third passage I picked is on page 115, the two last paragraphs. I chose these paragraphs because everything starts to make sense. You find out why Kit ran off, although I had a little suspicion that Sir Phillip was the cause of all this. It is also proven that Sir Phillip is indeed a cruel selfish man and it made me think that what Peter did may have been a good option (but the way it happened was not great).I also like this passage because Shakespeare has absolutely no idea and then it dawns on Peter.
The last passage I picked in on page 139, the second to last paragraph. It bring sort of a mystery when Peter asks himself who had marked those lines and I love mysteries. If I were Peter, it would have bothered me as well. It always happens that I see someone that I had previously known and they say hello, but I can’t remember where they were from, so I think long and hard without breaks until I find out who it was or else it will bug me for the rest of the day. If I were them, I would be sort of afraid that there was and odd happening of this sort.
